Princess Kate’s Latest Holiday Look Includes an Amazing Glitter Jacket

The Princess of Wales is back with yet another jaw-dropping holiday look.

In a new video released by Kensington Palace today, Princess Kate makes a sparkling appearance while recording an introduction to Royal Carols: Together at Christmas.

This year marks the second time Kate has hosted a Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey.

In the recording—which was filmed at the abbey on December 14, the day before the service took place—Kate wears a glitter-covered black tweed jacket with orange lining while standing in front of a tall, lit Christmas tree.

“I am so thrilled to be back at Westminster Abbey for our second carol service,” the royal says. “Last year’s event reminded me what I love most about Christmas, seeing people coming together, celebrating and experiencing special moments, whilst also thinking about the year that’s passed.”

Kate also pays homage to Queen Elizabeth II, who died at 96 years old this past September.

“This Christmas will be our first without Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth,” Kate continues. “Her Majesty held Christmas close to her heart, as a time that brought people together and reminded us of the importance of faith, friendship, and family, and to show empathy and compassion.”

This year’s service intends to continue the late monarch’s legacy, the Princess of Wales adds.

“This year, we’ve invited hundreds of inspiring individuals to the service. Those who showcase the power of connectedness and community values, allowing us to continue Her Majesty’s tradition of recognizing and thanking those who have gone above and beyond to support others,” she says. “Her Majesty leaves with us an incredible legacy and one that has deeply inspired many of us. This year’s carol service is dedicated to her and to all those who are sadly no longer with us.”

ITV will broadcast the carol service on Christmas Eve.
